Every one of the 29 people kept yesterday for supposedly entering the Ulu Jelai Forest Reserve in Lipis wrongfully, including Selangor’s Teratai assemblyman Bryan Lai Wai Chong, were delivered on police bail early today.
Lipis area police boss Azli Mohd Noor said they were delivered at about 3am after their assertions were taken.
He said the police examination was directed because of the gathering’s cross-state travel without authorization while their supposed passage into the backwoods hold without a grant was researched by the Pahang State Forestry Department.
The office affirmed yesterday that every one of the suspects, who were from Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, were captured at 8am in Kampung Rakoh, Pos Lenjang, for purportedly entering the woods save in 11 four-wheel-drive vehicles without a grant.
